Carbon offset
When old office furniture is replaced by new furniture, it gets sent to the landfill, where it contributes to Greenhouse Gas and Carbon Emissions. Large office furniture projects can create a large carbon footprint. This can be reduced or eliminated by a carbon offset program. A carbon offset program is a credit that represents the reduction or removal of one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent from the atmosphere. Our Green Tree program can help you achieve net-zero carbon footprints for your projects.

Green Tree Planting Program
Are you looking for a way to increase environmentally sustainable business practices?
Established in January 2021, the 4EverGreenTrees program aims to further reduce the negative environmental impacts of the office furniture industry. With recycling at the heart of this carbon offset program and a goal to divert as much waste as possible from landfills, the 4EverGreenTrees program provides customers with an environmentally responsible opportunity to participate in the fight against climate change.
Refurb Canada fundamentally believes in environmentally sustainable operations, and we’re looking to share this benefit with our customers. In Partnership with Tree Canada, our company has committed to planting four trees for every recycled workstation purchased from or decommissioned through Refurb Canada. Thanks to the 4EverGreenTree program, our customers can feel good about choosing a carbon-neutral project and creating lasting differences in the Canadian landscape.
Refurb Canada is proud to operate as a 100% carbon-neutral company.
All participating products or services will be accompanied by an official 4EverGreenTrees certificate, outlining an environmental breakdown of your carbon-neutral project
In partnership with Tree Canada:
Tree Canada is the nation’s only non-profit tree planting company with a dedication to tree planting, nurturing and environmental education. Their focus is on reforestation, urban forestry and the reduction of carbon emissions in Canada.

Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.
The only way forward, if we are going to improve the quality of the environment, is to get everybody involved.
We don’t have to sacrifice a strong economy for a healthy environment.
